Week 7 - Thornwood

Linden is still working on his fishing skills. He hasn't quite got the hang of it yet.

Arianna is quite a bit older than Ash, but they have three bolts so I decided to see how it goes.

They seem to like each other well enough.

Dahlia seems to think her husband getting pelted by hair is amusing.

A little father-son bonding time.

Ash wants to be an artist. I don't imagine it will happen in his life-time, unfortunately. A connection to downtown is expensive. :(

Dahlia ran into a patch of poison ivy while out on a hike.

These two act more like close friends than anything.

Dahlia is still working away at maxing out all her skills.

The store is doing really well. Linden helps out now and again, too.

Of course he has his reasons.

Linden finds a few women that strike his fancy. He makes sure to get their numbers so he can get to know them better.

With the shop doing so well, Dahlia decides to hire the first employee. Hopefully Leighton will eventually take over as manager.

Ash finds a townie girl to date.

It goes well, but still no sparks.

Linden now qualifies for the career path of his choosing. He gets a position right away.

And in the wee hours of Monday morning he moves out of his parent's house.

Linden is very handsome.
I think Ash and Arianna are pretty cute together but I can understand why you would be wary of their age difference. It is a little weird that sims who just transitioned into teen can date sims that are one day away from adulthood. I wish there was a way to show age in the game a little better.

Linden got a real mash-up of genetics, I think he came out really great. Ash and Arianna are 5-7 days apart, which isn't much when they're adults, but as teens its a little weird. Especially since Arianna is one day away from becoming an adult. Ash is a romance sim too, so I'm not sure he is even going to want to settle down. I'm also trying not to join all my founding families, because the whole relation thing gets a little wishy-washy after a few generations.
